Hope everyone had a good Christmas, or whatever you chose to celebrate.
Statistics are showing, based on my brief study, that the two most wanted but not receieved gifts are ponies and true skill based MMORPGs. hehehe

  6. Happy Holidays, all.

What do I want for Boxing Day? The day AFTER Christmas? I want to kill whomever at WoWWee Robotics designed the security device that required me to drill-out the screw hole in order to get my 7-year-old’s Roboreptile out of it’s protective enclosure. Yes… I had to drill out the holes surrounding the screws that held the toy into its delivery box.

Short version: 4 long screws held a plastic base onto the feet of the beast. The screws were counter-sunk at the base of long, thin cylindrical holes. The holes were narrower than a standard screwdriver, but the screw-heads were larger than could be turned with the small-shaft screw-driver that fit down the hole. And the screws were cheap-a**, soft metal that stripped easily when using a small screwdriver. So… drill ’em out.

The long version involves cursing in 4 languages, if you need to know.

The boy was most patient, the toy is a hoot. But WowWee is on notice as maker of “Worst Security Device for Toy Evah.”

    Happy Boxing Day.

Sorry about your Roboreptile, I had my own issues putting together 2 pink Barbie Bike’s (with water bottle/travel packs included!) 2am on X-mas Eve…..

I realized this year why my own Dad always looked so groggy X-mas morning 😛

  8. LOL! Can you say Holicron!?

  9. My trouble came the day AFTER Christmas as we redid my son and daughters bedrooms completely. New beds, move all the furniture, et al. That was worse than any latenight Santa-helping I’ve done yet in my son’s 12 years of existence.
