It sure seems like SketchUp is becoming the default building tool for 3d user-built content. Today I see the word that IMVU now supports importing SketchUp content.

Got word from Celia Pearce that Georgia Tech is looking to fill a couple of positions. Since I left SOE, I’ve been asked to teach a class here and there, explore joining a faculty. I’m not quite there yet (though I can see myself there someday). But maybe some of you are, so here’s the scoop:
I’ve mentioned the Temeraire books before — now news hits that Peter Jackson has optioned them. Here’s hoping something comes of it.
