The Guitar Hero Embeddable Widget can be stolen from Wired at the link. I refrained from doing so myself for fear everyone would just sit here and play endlessly. 🙂
I wonder how long it will be until all this stuff just interoperates? 🙂

Hmm. So they can get a Flash version working but they can’t get the PC/Mac version of Guitar Hero III working on a machine with an Intel graphics chip. Way to go Activision/Aspyr…
There’s just one problem: Guitar Hero is fun because it feels like playing guitar. The Flash version is lame, because it feels like, well, nothing.
What’s hilarious is how breathless Wired is about running this spot. If anything, this will backfire and give people who have never played GH the complete wrong idea.

Did anyone else pick up their keyboard and hold it like a guitar hero controller or am I just weird? I failed miserably the first time I tried it, but when I held my keyboard just right, it felt like the real game. The timing was a little off, but it was still pretty cool.
Ahhh, that’s where the laptop did me in. Perhaps I was o’er hasty.
Get Joy2Key, create a config file, plug your guitar controller into your computer.
