Sorry for the lack of posts lately… lots to do with the new studio, like finding office space, setting up payroll, and all that. Expect to hear more on that soon. If you happen to be a server programmer, drop me a line, I’ll be hiring soon.

Got word from Celia Pearce that Georgia Tech is looking to fill a couple of positions. Since I left SOE, I’ve been asked to teach a class here and there, explore joining a faculty. I’m not quite there yet (though I can see myself there someday). But maybe some of you are, so here’s the scoop:
I highly recommend not traveling when you seem to have a splitting headache and a 100 degree fever. I can’t even muster the energy to go to Rudy’s, how sad is that?
I had occasion to fly yesterday, and got to experience the ban on liquids first-hand.
At the San Diego airport, the increased security meant a few more National Guard walking about. I got there way early fearing long security lines (the San Diego airport has on occasion obliged me with massive lines, particularly around any sort of holiday season). Instead, I found myself sitting around for an extra hour.
