In case you’re the sort of person who only buys trilogies when they’re done, I thought I might mention that Scott Westerfeld (whom I have mentioned before) has finished his Midnighters trilogy with the latest volume, Blue Noon.
Reading
Thoughts about something I’ve recently read.

The Ghost Brigades
(Visited 6267 times)John Scalzi’s sequel to Old Man’s War is out in hardcover.
Putting the world in the box
(Visited 10683 times)Over the last few days, we finally finished watching Scrapped Princess. Coincidentally, a Hugo plug for Spin over at Making Light, a site I always forget to read regularly, reminded me that I had picked it up in hardback when it first came out. So I read that today.
Oddly, they are both about the world being stuffed in a box.
Shaping Games
(Visited 27705 times)Here I am on a plane to Atlanta, and I just finished reading Bruce Sterling’s book Shaping Things. My MP3 player is at home, and I didn’t bring any movies, and I don’t feel like reading, and the in-flight movie is over. So instead, I thought I’d jot down some notes on what I just read.
